Clay for substrate? Empty Clay for substrate?

Post by crashsmashley Wed Jan 25, 2012 4:48 pm

Hello, just a quick question about substrate. So, LGs are used to compact, non-loose substrate (just like the dessert - gee!) Well, what about using natural clay? It can be packed down to a hard, compact surface and virtually granule free. Do you guys think this is a good idea? Thanks!

Sorry hon but no because the leo will scratch some loose as he climbs around the viv. Check out the proper housing sticky in the housing section and the show off your set up thread, you'll get some really good ideas that are safe for your leo and attractive.
