I have a 55 gallon tank for my leo's. I have 2 in it now. How many could you put in it with them feeling comfortable with each other being in there. I have 4 leo's but the other 2 are in another tank.

The general rule of thumb is 10 gallons per leo with a hot and cold hide for each. Altho leos are solitary animals, they don't relish living in group environments, it goes against their nature and makes for competition which can lead to fights. Absolutely do not have more than 1 male in a group tank, they will fight to the death, even siblings.

I knew about not putting 2 males together. Course I only have 1 male and 3 females. I was wanting to at least have 3 in the 55 gallon tank. Im wanting another leo is the reason im wanting other peoples input.

You could safely put the three females or four together in the 55 gal, as long as (Like Kel said) there were hides both warm and cool for each individual leo. That way they can be "alone" if they want to. Very Happy

The best thing you can do is just offer a well balanced diet on a regular schedule with a reasonable amount of varied food and they will put the weight back on. You can't do it fast, it needs to be a slow growing process or you could risk re-feeding syndrom.

Understand that waxies are only supposed to be a treat, they should be on some rotation between worms and/ or crickets to provide a balanced diet to gain proper weight.
