Possibly Gravid again

So Regina laid her first ever clutch of eggs on the 4th and 5th of October which is pretty late in the season so i figured shes done laying till next season but 2day for some reason she just looks like shes getting a bit heavy again. She maybe gravid again but then again maybe shes just finally getting back to her normal weight and she just looks a bit heavier to me now so who knows but we will see in the next few days or weeks i suppose.

Have you checked her belly?

No not yet she was laying in her moist hide all night. I know she was shedding earlier in the day so i wanted to leave her be in her hide till she was completely done shedding before i pulled her out and checked her. Im fine if she is gravid again actually ill be happy. I just havent even thought about it since the season is over thats all. And i just felt like talking about it LOL. I will check her soon though to see if she is in fact gravid or just putting weight back on.

@Kermit Well i just pulled her out and she definitely has a heft to her. But i cant quite tell if she is gravid from looking at her belly. It was very difficult to see last time as well but you could sorta make out the eggs last time. I just weighed her and she is 74.0g and and thats 2.9g more then she weighed the day before she laid her eggs last time. I weighed her 3 days after laying her first clutch which was 7 October and she was down to 67.0 thats a 7g weight gain in a little less then a month So i dont know if she is just putting on more weight or if she is truly gravid but i guess only time will tell.

Even if she was bred late in the season she will still retain that sperm plug and likely have the standard 2-4 cltches about 2-3 weeks apart. How many clutches did she have the last time she laid for you?

Just 1 clutch as this was her first time breeding. Like i said she laid them on the 4th and 5th of october so its right around the 4week mark now. The first egg she laid proved to be infertile with in about 6-7 days but the 2nd egg is still in the incubator and is showing no signs of infertility but the egg doesnt have the pink hue or visible veins like it should at this point in incubation but im leaving it in there till it goes bad or hatches out
