Re: babys bad shead x4
poor little baby's im so glad you rescued them. i would just keep doing what you are doing with the warm baths and what not, and just see if it helps over time. i'm sorry i cant be to much help on this but i think over time the sheds should come off. hopefully some others on here will be able to give you more advice.
Re: babys bad shead x4
Keep trying the baths. When my leos have trouble shedding I get a facecloth, and run it under warm water. I then wrap my leos up in it (not tight, though). This seems to help a lot. I then rub at their feet gently, until the skin comes off.
The skin near the eyes looks painful. You may want to see a vet about that. If there is skin in the eye it could be really bothersome to them.
Good luck!

Re: babys bad shead x4
I just turn my bathroom tap on as high as it goes, and put the cloth under the running water. I ring it out a lot so it isn't dripping but still warm and wet. I leave it for a minute or two and then wrap them up. Sometimes I just put it on the bottom of the tank and let them walk over it, but my two babies (they need the help, my adult leo is fine) are very curious, so they investigate everything I put in their tank.
I wouldn't boil the water because it would be REALLY hot. When I use the tap I will get it to a temp where its just warming my hands, not burning.
A reptile zoo is a good idea! I have a reptile zoo about an hour away from me and they actually breed leopard geckos. LOL!

Re: babys bad shead x4
You can flush the leos eyes with regular saline solution for humans. Do it once or twice a day and you should be able to flush out the debris after a few days treatments.
Re: babys bad shead x4
i thought you could do that but i wasn't sure, i didn't want to give wrong advice thanks for helping Kel.

Re: babys bad shead x4
It is called salin solution, is a simple mild salt water solution similar to what is produced naturally. Do not use visine or any type of human opthamolic solution intended to remove redness or for dry eyes etc. That is NOT what you need. Go to your local drug store and tell the clerk yhou ned PLAIN SALINE SOLUTION, nothing with cleaners, nothing aside of regular old saline soluton. It will be a larger bottle, at least 4-8 ozs and will say saline solution.
Hope this helps clear up any confusion.

For the stuck shed on the toes, you can soak them in a warm bath then gently rub at the shed with a cotton bud

Poor babs.
When i first got Randall he was like that except maybe not as bad. You should take them to a reptile vet and get some specialist advice.

Re: babys bad shead x4
Also for the eyes what I have found works is giving them a sauna. I take a plastic or glass dish with an air tight lid. I put papertowel in the bottom and put warm water just enough to soak the paper towel. I then put the lizard in and close the lid. ONLY LEAVE THEM FOR 10 MINUTES!!!! They do not have air holes remembers. When I take them out I immediately and very gently use a q-tip and rub their eyes. This way it is being steamed off. I will do this a couple times a day until it is all off. I find it easier on the eyes than bathing them. Hope this helps
