Hi new gecko owner

Hi
My name is Chris63, I am an RMN working in the private sector.
I already own a bearded dragon called Magda who is 3 years old.
Recently a work colleague of my wife's said her son had got a 4 year old Leopard Gecko which he was no longer able to care for did she know anyone who would have him and give him all the love and care he needed. So I was asked if I wanted a Gecko and of course I said yes and started re reading the books I got at the time I was deciding to have either a dragon or gecko.
Anyway we have had Reubin the Leopard Gecko for two weeks now and have been gently getting him used to being handled after the initial settling in period. My wife has really taken to him and who can blame her he is just so adorable.
Anyway I look forward to chatting and getting any advice I may need to ensure Reubin has the best life he can.
He is booked into the same specialist vet Magda is registered with for a general health check this friday.

Im Sam and I love bearded dragons my 2 girls are Gizmo 8/9years old and Tiny 5/6years old.

Hey there Chris... welcome to the forum. That was so nice of you and your wife to take in this leo. Since you have experience with bearded dragons that should make keeping a leo a little easier for you, but I have to ask... what is your set up like for your leo? They do require quite a different set up from dragons? Has he eaten for you yet? what kind of diet are you feeding?
