Hi, I'm a newbie and am here for advice, my 11 year old gecko has suddenly dropped all body weight and is now very very thin, i have only noticed this within the last week, he is still eating and drinking however I have noticed this nasty thing on his bum, can anyone tell me what it is? Is it curable? I am going to vets asap but am waiting for appointment! Sad Help!

Yup, that looks just like what My Dean had/ is getting over! Vet is where its at. Will need antibiotics.

From my recent experience, it should be curable. Could be abscess, what it looks due to the appearance of leaking, or even a tumor of some sort. Either way liek said antibiotics or/and surgery should fix it.
