Cactus....... Empty Cactus.......

I have absolutely no knowledge of cacti and i would like to get one for my tank. Is there any preffered cactus because i know some can get big and i just want a small one (no more than 8 inches). Also if there is a link for caring for cacti that would be helpful.Very Happy

I wanted a cactus too, but they are not recomended for leos. They are too prickly and can hurt your leo. So, cactuses are not good for the cage. There's always fake ones Smile

I've been keeping potted cacti in the tank with my leopard geckos and I've never had any issues with them, the geckos climb on them. The cacti i found don't have sharp prickles, they just have rough spines which the geckos will rub against sometimes to get their sheds off.

There are fake cacti for sale at petstores. I have one, and its pretty realistic looking.

what about aloe cati? i have a kind that has absolutly no spines on it. grows straight edged.
