I just bought

a brand new 20 gallon long tank for 20 bucks at petco! I love their 1$ a gallon sale! So now I get to start makeing the cage and getting everything for my little guy! Modeling the cage is my favorite part

i am so jealous of that sale! I wish english pet stores would do £1 a gallon sales Modeling is fun! I love buying all the deco and stuff Have fun!!

Mine too... sad thing with me tho is I torture myself trying to make it as natural as possible and I never think its done... there's always just 1 more thing to make it perfect

Yeah. This was my first time going to the sale and it paid off! My dad was like "Lindsey, you can't buy anything for the leopard gecko until you get everything situated with Kannon! (my crested gecko)" And then I told him about the sale and he was like "OK BUY THE TANK!" haha.



I'm super excited to model the tank. My grumps and granny make clay figureines and plates, vases, etc. So, I'm gonna see if they will let me make either a clay hide or like a hide/platform thing. We have a swap meet here tha has this one booth with fake flowers and like awesome wooden sticks and fake mini cactuses for like 50 cents each so I am going to shop there! IM SO EXCITED!

It sounds like you're gonna make it really natural looking! Mine doesn't look that natural LOL, but it has everything my leos need so thats good enough for me ^_^

I wish Canadian stores had the $1 a gallon sale! I'd go crazy with all the purchasing! LOL

Yeah I am going for a more natural look. My cresties are in more natural setting. I think that the natural way looks better to me. Idk why. ha. I would have never even known about the sale but my friend told me!



Yes, I will be getting her at a expo. The nearest expo is this coming weekend, the 24th-25th. I might get her on the 24th but I am not sure if I will be ready in time. So it really just depends on how fast I get the cage ready. Also, I do have to purchase a new cage for Kannon, that is my priority. And we are going to be buying a shizz ton of accesories and stuff. If we don't get her this weekend then I will eaither be getting her at a pet shop or the next reptile expo which is November 21-22 i think.

Aw, its awesome getting them at expos. I just went to my first expo today. It was AMAZING. I definitely reccomend you getting your leo at an expo.

This will be my first expo too! I am super super super excited. I want to get it at the expo because they will have all different types of morphs. I know there is suppose to be atleast 5 leopard gecko only vendors and then like 15(?) other geckos vendors. So hopefully if I get one this coming weekend it will be nice. I have 243 dollars and counting to spend there so im hopeing to get some awesome stuff! (Im so glad I have a birthday right by the expo haha) I am going to take alot of pics so I will post them here when I come back.

Wow! You'll get a lot of great stuff at the expo then with that kinda cash! LOL. I spent the last of my money at the expo today, I'm broke now XD But so worth it. I got 2 new geckos (one from Jolene, Smararas on here), a heater,and 2 hidey holes. And just seeing everything is amazing. I'm gonna post the few pictures I took tomorrow (I was too busy looking at everything lol). My mom bought me some of the stuff too.
We saw a leo there today for $1000.00! :O
I was amazed by how many leopard geckos they had there. It was CRAZY. And i saw tons of morphs I've never even heard of before lol. And I was SOOO close to getting a crestie. Thats on my to get list :P
The fat tail geckos are gorgeous as well. I love the darker colored ones, absolutely stunning!

I will post what I already have done on this thread after the football game. I stayed up last night and figured out how I wanted the tile and also built a little hide away. I'm going to petsmart later so hopefully I will be getting the UTH and maybe some more hides/platforms.

And I agree those dollar per gallon deals are just too good, I find it hard to stop myself from buying one when they have them on sale. Normally with a 20 gallon long w/ mesh top cost $75, or onsale for $59. With Petco's dollar per gallon sale, I'm able to get the same size 20 gallon for $20, then purchased a meshtop that they also sell that fits perfectly for $15. Grand total of $35 for a 20 gallon aquarium with good sturdy mesh top.

Of course it would've been nice if I knew this before purchasing 8 at regular price awhile back, eep
