This is my husbands baby Savannah Monitor"Lucky" having a bath. He is shedding and I find for him getting him moving and bathing him really gets the shed moving. he is a video of him puffing himself up to float and swimming around the tub:D

How big do they grow? are they tame and easy to handle they are older?

Hey will get to be about as long as the bath rub with his tail included. They are usually pretty wild when they are that young but he has always been really tame so he should stay this way as long as we keep handling him every day like we do.

wow Very Happy that's a long lizard!! Smile he is so gorgeous Very Happy I've always loved the look of monitors.. but i know I would never been able to handle one Very Happy

When you get them as babies you can grow with them...so to speak. They grow slowly so you are not thrown into dealing with a large lizard..it is a gradual thing
