The deal with wide tails?
My wife and I just got two gecko's today and my question was are their tails suppose to be fat? Does it determine anything about their health? We are not really sure on how great of care they were getting in their previous home and we are both totally new to gecko's. Thanks

Re: The deal with wide tails?
Like I mentioned in your introduction, your geckos look almost the age of mine, maybe slightly younger.
At this age, the geckos length goes faster than they gain weight, so they will look real slim. They are nice looking for their length and now that their in your care I'm sure after about a few weeks to a short amount of months, will fatten up a lot more like my leos.

hiya and welcome to the forum.
the fatter your leo's tails is the better as its there fat resevre, a skinny tail can mean that a leo is sick. you have 2nice looking leo's there when there young there tails can take a while to fatten up tho.
