New gecko
hi there. As most of you already know i'm new to this forum and reptiles as a whole and i need to know all my facts and figures to persuade my parents i'm up for it. So i need to know about leo illnesses. Can anyone tell me some common illnesses and symptoms that i would need to look out for?

Parasites are the main problems, its always best to make sure you have some emergency vet money just incase.
Keep an eye on your gecko's poo's, mouth and eyes, to make sure they are keeping healthy.

Yes, one you have them too, I found that I just KNOW if they are not acting the way they usually do. That is when I start thinking about the list that Jordan was talking about. That is after you have really gotten to know them.

The most common illnesses you could encounter are parasites which are usually transferred by crickets or other infected leos yours has been exposed to. Impaction from ingesting loose substrait when eating, upper respratory infections, egg binding for females and hemipenes that get stuck out on males. Also if you end up with an enigma morph that opens up a whole nother realm of issues.
