Most popular morphs?
I was wondering if someone could put together a list of morphs in the order of most popular to least popular. Obviously there's many morphs so maybe just the top ten. Also I know this will be based off different opinions but you know :P
Pretty please
Thanks!

Re: Most popular morphs?
There's no such thing as the most popular morphs, simply due to the fact that what's popular depends on your target audience. So what's popular amongst general public isn't exactly what's popular amongst breeders, or what's popular at reptile shows. What's popular amongst gecko enthusiasts are also different from what's popular from first time gecko owners.
For an example, a reputable breeder once posted her experience at tradeshows. She said she sells mostly mack snows, normals, high yellows, etc.. at the tradeshows. They are mostly cheaper and more common morphs. People with their kids tend to pick geckos with a lot of spots and patterns on them. They never care about the quality of carrot-tail for an example, or high quality and more expensive morphs.
But then if you talk to breeders, what's popular amongst breeders are usually the up and coming morphs, or the newer stuff. White & Yellow, marble eye, typhoon, etc.. just to name a few of what's being worked on and they are being sold & traded at high dollar values currently. We're talking $600-$2000. And these are not geckos that anybody would buy other than breeders that want to produce them. But they're popular amongst breeders, good quality geckos are still being bought up.
Next up say gecko enthusiasts, these are the more hardcore gecko fans & addicts. They aren't breeders but they really love their geckos. These folks will pay top dollars for a high quality morph that they like, and they do care about the details such as the amount of carrot-tail, the thickness of bold stripes, the spotting on the head, etc.. I'd say these people are willing to spend a few hundred or more on purchasing good quality bred morphs like tangerine tornado, zorro bandit, electric tangerine, extreme emerine, etc..
Anyways, hope that helps, but I probably didn't answer your question lol. It's a hard one to answer because I don't think there's one single most popular morph, as it all depends on who's buying and who your target audiences are.

Re: Most popular morphs?
I don't have a list in order of rarity, but I do have a list of most of the types of leos:

Normal would be the most common though I think. Not sure if it would be most "popular" though.

Thanks, that totally makes sense. I posted pictures of Claudia on my Facebook then a week later I got my normal guy and posted pics of him and everyone liked him better! Because of his spots I think.
