hot side...

Ive been seeing this mentioned a lot but I'm ashamed to say i have no clue what its about, culd someone explain to me the hot side and how I need to go about setting this up for stubbs?

The hot side is the side of the tank where the heat mat is applied. Rather, there is one side of the tank that is warmer than the other so as to give it a temperature gradient so that if it get's to hot on the hot side, the leo has the ability to move to the cool side and thermo-regulate their body temperature.

oh i see, mine is central under the tank, Ill push it over to one side asap. thanks for the info!
