It has been 70 days if not more!

Post by geckosgalore on Sun Mar 25, 2012 8:45 am

So I have these Leopard Gecko eggs that were laid on the 17th of January. They have not hatched yet and they are about 70 days old. They look perfectly healthy and they have not sunking in. Any advice?

Keep incubating them! Wink Until they mold over or stink, I'd say keep going until you're 100% positive that there aren't babies in there.

What temp. are you incubating them at, though? Have you candled them by chance?

I have incubated them at 82, I have tried to candle them but my flashlight is way to big.

I hate the waiting so badly.....

Well it sounds like you have to be patient. Smile Leopard gecko eggs can take a while, especially since you're on the cooler side of incubation temperature. As long as they are mold free, dent free, and smell free, keep going!! thumbs up 2

EDIT: Some eggs have been reported to hatch with minor dents, too...so yeah. Keep going 'til you're positive haha... Razz
