More Food for Typhon!
I grabbed 6 dubia nymphs from a reptile shop to see if Typhon would like them... what an understatement that was! He LOVED them.
I pulled him out of the tank for feeding for the first time since I didn't want the roaches to run off and hide. Dropped one roach into the tank and BAM! He scrambled to get it...he missed probably three times but didn't get discouraged. He WANTED that roach! He ate 5 of the 7 roaches I got (was supposed to be 6, but I guess a small roach hitch hiked on one of the larger nymphs) with gusto. I am so happy he likes them!!
Plus, he's gonna get another big treat in a few days...I ordered some small silkworms as a yummy surprise. Shhh don't tell.

Woo! that's great!
I've always wanted to feed my leos some dubia roaches.. but my mom said I'm never allowed to bring them in the house she can barely tolerate superworms/morioworms in the house

yay! my charm loves dubias, she has gotten so picky that most of the time she wont eat supers anymore because she likes the dubias better. lol sarah i have the same problem because i live with my sister, but i only assumed that she would be upset because they are "roaches" so i never told her and i keep them secret in a large storage bin XD i dont sagest lying to your mother or sneeking them in, respecting your mothers wishes is very honerable and builds trust. my sister told me once that if it didn't effect her she didn't care and some times its better if she just doesn't know about it lol so thats why im such a bad girl and sneak them in XD

Hahaha Mystic, you ARE bad. But I did the same...my family hates any insects. I snuck the dubias into my room in a brown paper bag...I told them it was alcohol...which wasn't a very good bluff anyway since I don't really drink. Still! They didn't suspect a thing!

Aww. So cute!
I wish I could feed roaches, but they are illegal in Canada ): It sucks.
I can't believe you snuck them in! LOL! My mom would have figured it out right away, I'm terrible at keeping secrets xD

LOL, for the longest time my mom wouldn't let me have roaches either. Which is funny, because I had a giant African millipede for 4 years and no one cared.
I just kind of got them, and promised my mom she would never see them! They are in a blue storage tub on my shelf with the rest of my reptile supplies, so no one suspects a thing!
